Default How long to wait B4 acrylic glue reef safe

I'm gluing up some acrylic pieces (6-10 joints about 6" long) this afternoon & just wondering how long I need to wait until they are safe to put in the sump?

Using WeldOn 3.

I just finished a sump for my build and they told me that 24 hrs min. 48hrs is better, acrylic cement gets stronger every day it is left empty.

Weldon 3 is very fast curing, a couple hours is lots unless it's structural which should be left overnight. What you built isn't structural and will be fine if you want an early start and reef will be safe either way.

I have to work out how to mount the box in the 1st chamber of my sump, so it'll probably not go in until Monday - but you never know
