Default Aquascaping Epoxy Question

Hey guys,

just doing some aquascaping here and wondering what the best approach is towards gluing two rocks together a bit? Can you kneed the epoxy out of the water and then dunk it under and shove it between the two points you want glued together or do you need to do this out of the water?

What other tips would you guys offer?

it can be done underwater easier. imo, might want to shut your skimmer down while doing it as some brands can make them bubble pretty crazy for a while.

I mix my epoxy out of the water then attach the rocks or frags under water. It has quite long curing time so you don't need to rush. I also have used black zip ties to hold rocks together. So people have said that the clear ones break down under UV rays.
