Default SWC Xtreme Protein Skimmers

Does anybody know if the tank ratings on these skimmers is accurate? I'm looking for a skimmer for a new 120 gallon (with 40 gallon sump) mixed reef (LPS, SPS & clams) that I'm setting up and I think that I've settled on using a SWC Xtreme (though my opinion seems to change daily). The SWC website states that the Xtreme 160 can handle a 160 gallon tank with a medium bioload and a 125 gallon tank with a high bioload but I know that manufacturers often inflate their numbers. Would the Xtreme 160 be adequate for my tank?
