pieces of rock work, frag disks or plugs are good, and I've seen lately frags on certain types of tiles.

1"X1" Travertine marble tiles from Home depot, $9.99 a sheet for 50 tiles. I boil them first to remove the glue and then attach my frags to them, works great for me.

I hate the frag plugs but that's just my personal opinion. They're great for storing your frags in a rack but a pain in the butt to place on your LR, the "plug" is too thick to wedge anywhere. I like either very thin acryllic rods (t's amazing the places you can wedge them into and just a little putty keeps them there for good) LR rubble or those little formed rubble piles that you can buy (looks like gravel shaped into a domed half circle pile)

For SPS I love suspending my frags from fishing line. http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/20...ture/index.php
