Default Camera Repair

So my casio exilm is defunct, the shutter/lens is stuck open (yeah, I dropped it while taking pictures) Any suggestions on a camera reapir place in Cowtown?

In my experience, unless it is an expensive camera, it probably is not worth fixing.

It wasn't too expensive, just that it's less than a yeard old, I would hate to toss it it seems like the lens is jammed so I hope not a big fix.

I had the same happen to my Canon, all i did was find a used one on ebay with a cracked lcd(everything else was functioning) and just changed all the parts over. I spent $40

My brother used to work for Vistek, I think they can do repairs (depending on the camera that is).

Typically it costs more to even get an estamate than to replace the camera.
$160.00 is the minimum charge for repair at Nikon

Ouch.. well I'll tinker with it a bit but maybe I need a trip to best buy on the weekend to go shopping
