Default Road Trip

Hey

So i'm finishing school in a couple months and decided that before i try and find a job that i'd go on a bit of a road trip. Thinking of heading south. Just wandering what aquariums people have been to and whats good.

I've been to the Seattle aquarium and well that's a one time deal but the Oregon one looks cool. I've also gone to the aquarium of the pacific in California, that was pretty sweet.

Anyways shout out some ideas

Kyle

I've always wanted to visit the Georgia aquarium, but it's probably too far for a road trip

Were do you plan on going?

Monterey Bay Aquarium & Steinhard (San Fran.)

If you go to the East Coast...... National Aquarium in Baltimore & Georgia Aquarium.

If you hit Chicago....... Shedd Aquarium.

Cheers,
Vic

If your in San Diego the Birch Aquarium is decent. They have a 70,000 gallon kelp forest exhibit in the hall of fishes which exhibits from from the cold water pacific, tropical Mexico and the Caribbean, some 60 tanks total.

Not to mention the view is great overlooking the pacific ocean on the La Jolla bluffs.

The aquarium is part of Scripps Institution of Oceanography.

(Its my hometown aquarium.)

Steinhart Aquarium (California Academy of Sciences) San Francisco

Monterey Bay Aquarium , Monterey Bay, California

Then of course if you enjoy theme park type aquariums or want to see marine mammals there is Sea World in San Diego.

Sounds like a pretty good A1 road trip to me. I was going to suggest all of those!
