Default Sump janitors?

I have a sandbed in my sump. Other than a large hermit and some snails there is nothing else in there to maintain it. What else is good to have in there? I would also like something to keep the sandbed clean.

Thanks

I would put some nassarius snails or strawberry conchs. I believe a tigertail cucumber would work also.

I used to have a green brittle sea star very hardy and will eat all the crap… woops I mean detritus.
Tiger cucumber might be ok if you 100% sure he will stay away from intakes

Would a green brittle star be ok in that amount of space with other 'sump' mates? I have heard they can be aggressive.
