Question pipefish/seahorse experiences???

I was thinking about getting a corythoichthys insularis (I believe that's what type it is) which is (from what I've read on here and the internet) a pipefish/seahorse. From what I understand they are hard to keep, however I would like to try. What I was wondering was does anyone on here have any experience with keeping a fish like this? Any information you could share would be great! Thanks Laurie

Yes, pipefish & seahorses tend to be harder than average to keep. At least with seahorses nowadays, they're all supposed to be captive-raised, which means they should already be trained to eat frozen mysis. If you do get the pipefish, make sure it is eating at the LFS. Also, these types of fish do not like too much flow & are poor swimmers.
