Sam, congrats on the new addition! Seems you and I are in a race, isn't that your third now as well?
Hey Zulu, how is the BTA split that you got from me doing?

Andrew, yeah, that was the 2nd split. I'm actively searching for a rose BTA now as I plan to sell my Sebae Giant soon to make room.

Ditto for me Sam. I'm also looking for a rose BTA to replace my tan BTA. Hopefully I can find a nicely coloured rose specimen that is as happy and healthy as my tan BTA is.

I do know someone who has a beautiful rose BTA, but it is still small and I know he wont be parting with it anytime soon. I have called dibs on the first split from it, so perhaps I'll have one in the coming months that I can offer a split from to you?
Or perhaps the original one will thrive and split a couple times so that we can both get one soon? PS... I'm not telling who has the rose BTA, but it is a retailer you were at just recently that has it. Hint: if you want to see it you'll have to make the long drive back there.

Yes, I did see that one when I was there. It wasn't all that small if I remember. I think it will split anytime now. I suggested to him that he put a porcelain crab in there to speed up the process. Its uncertain whether or not he'd even sell the first clone as he may decide to propagate several generations to stock up on them before selling.
I also know a couple of guys in Seattle who have some. I'm 12th on one of the waiting lists. At that rate, I should get one in 4 years (assuming a few people drop off the list by then). :x |
