My cleaner shrimp molted tonight, pretty cool thing to see...

If you have two, after a molt is when they usually get preggie & start to carry the next batch of eggs. They say iodine is necessary for good molts & many reefers leave the old shell in for them to eat.

i was going to get 2, but i dont want to stoke my tank with to much right now, is there anything wrong with adding one in later?

Shouldn't be any problems. Molts creeped me out the first time around.

ya it was definatly a little weird, I was like WTF is going on! hahah, you should see when my rose hair tarantula molts, the first time it did I missed it so the next day I look in his tank and it looks like theres 2 spiders in there...very very weird..

I didn't know the shrimp will eat there own skin....very cool, I alway's pull it out. I think I'll leave the next one in for a show....ahhhh pathetic I am...
