Default Photo hounds rescue

Hello,

I guess I've been embarassed enough by my pathetic photos of our tank. I need two recommendations: 1) a 'best value' digicam. I don't mind spending a bit of money, but I'm thinking <500. Used is OK, I'm ebay friendly, but I'm looking for specific, can't-go-wrong advice. Fast shutter speed for fishy photos would be good. My current cam can't catch my fish on the move. 2) Photo editing software that can do a decent job of colour correction (if it is needed) and some intelligent work. I don't want the bloat, complexity or expense of photoshop. Recommendations, please?

Matthew

Default cam

Hey matt
I have a canon sd450 same as the sd400 I like it so far
still trying to get those freeze frame type shots but it does have a digitel macro setting that works ok good for a pic like a 1inch+ away

Check out london drugs or future shop and if you get one and don,t like it return it.
