I've had live rock in my tank for 3 weeks now and ammonia levels are still pretty crazy, but everything else seems alright. When should I add some cleaner shrimp or snails or anything like that? My first fish will by a clownfish, so should I get a cleaner crew settles in before the fish, or after? I won't be adding fish for a while, I highly doubt my water will be ready for anything for a while. Just planning ahead!

I'd wait till at least your ammonia and nitrite levels are down to zero before thinking about putting anything into the tank.

agreed. I waited 2 agonizing months to add anything to my tank. The first thing I got was a clown and then I got a cleaner shrimp. If you are thinking of a cleanup crew I would wait a bit after the fish so there is something for them to eat.
