Default Crocea clams and t5ho

just want to know crocea clam can survive under t5ho or not
if i place it very close to surface (less than 10 inch below the light)

Everything I've read said that these need MH. You might try a less-demanding species light-wise (Derasa, Squamosa).

Hi Ray,

Check out www.clamsdirect.com. In their forum, the consensus is that crocea are very high light demanding sp. that require MH to do well. You could probably keep it alive, but if you want one to thrive & grow, I have to agree with AJ & say pick up a nice Derasa. I've got a 6" Derasa right under PC & T5s & it's already growing.
