Default Sleeper Gold Head Goby pair

I picked up these at our LFS last week we think they are a mated pair and thus far have not given an indication otherwise and seem to of acclimated well to my tank no signs of stress or illness haven't seen them really eat yet but are very active fish which is good to see and have brought colour to the tank and also they seem to of brought my other fish who normally hide out in the open and become active as well

They are a great fish. Mine likes to make a mess in the tank once in awhile but that's okay.

They unintentionally committed suicide last night when one or both were widening the cave they had made and shifted the rockwork and crushed themselves to death.... Also severely injured one of the tiger tail cucumbers which died this morning

that is sad to hear.

Thats why I put my rock work in first, and had it sit solidly on the bottom glass, then put in sand, so burrowers don't crush themselves.

Ironically all my rock is sitting directly on top of egg crate with the exception of 2 pieces which were late additions and of course they chose to burrow under the one that was on top of the sand substrate...
