Default condition RO water?

So, I have finally jumped on the RO wagon. I am hoping it will help with some nuisance algae.

My question is do people still use conditioners like prime when using RO?

Rick

Nope, RO/DI should be pure and ready to add salt.

And to add ...

Here in the GVRD we have chlorine
A RO system removes it, so you're good to go
Some provinces use chloramines so reefers have to use different cartridges, but you're OK with a stock unit

Depends on what you mean by RO only? Does it include at least one sediment & one carbon stage before the membrane? If so, you're ok. If there's no carbon stage before the RO membrane, the chlorine will destroy it.
