			 Hi Leanne,

I feed the following: Puree Cyclops-eeze, mysid, mussels, flake food, pellet food, selcon, nori, Vitamine C tablet, garlic. I then freeze it and break a bit off (enough for a week). I then cut up a mussels and soak them in the above mix. I feed my anenomes the larger chuncks and pour some of the mixture in for everything else. Since I've started doing this a few months ago, I've had a huge feather duster explosion!

Oops, I should have been more clear. I blend all of those ingredients together (i.e. I mush them up good like baby food).

Nori = seaweed = the stuff they use for sushi. Use the unseasoned kind. For flake food, basically anything I can find. I last used some made by HBH. As for the vitamine C, I just used those orange flavored kind that people eat. i don't know if it really works, but I read somewhere that others did this to give vitamine C to their fish. I don't really have a ratio or anything, just use however much I feel like. I do use very little of the cyclop-eeze as a little goes a long way.

Mine is based on Bob Fenners recipe. What can I say, my fish are spoiled....

FISH FOOD 1/3 CUP DRIED KRILL (SOAKED) 1 SHEET NORI (SOAKED) 1 TSP. FISH VITAMINS (I use Kent Zoe) 1/2 CUP SEA BASS 1 DOZEN SMALL CLAMS (MEAT) 3 LARGE OYSTERS (MEAT) 12 LARGE RAW SHRIMP (PEELED) Optional: 1 PKGS GELATIN DISSOLVED IN 1/4-1/2C WARM WATER Garlic If I have leftover flake food (you know the crushed beyond recognition at the end of a can) or something good for them they don't take normally (all my fish hate plankton and cyclopeeze), throw some of that in. I freeze in ziploc freezer bags. |
