Default banggai cardinalfish making sounds???

I have a big banggai cardinalfish in my tank... a few days ago I heard it growl!

I heard emperor angel growls in a LFS... I had a blue troat trigger in my previous tank and it made growl sounds...

but a banggai cardinalfish????
am I going crazy?

My convict damsel used to make burping noises...and the Lookdown made a distinct grunt when I caught him. I think the Lookdown is actually in the family of fishes called "grunts" for that reason. (I'm not positive about that...)
