protein skimming help
hey guys and girls I just picked up a schuran protein skimmer. Just wondering if these things are any good. It looks high quality. but it has no pump for it. I'm currently running a 90 gal with a 55 gal sump. will this skimmer do the trick?
This skimmer is 2ft tall 4-5'' around and has a 3/4'' input I think they use eheim pumps but i don't know which one to get. Thanks for the help!!! P.S. i'm running a mini g skimmer right now with a sedra 350gph pump. Last edited by REDNECK_REEFER; 05-29-2008 at 03:16 AM. |

By the sounds of it you have a Jetskim 100 which recommends using an Eheim 1250. It's rated for 500L or 132 gallons, it's a good company so the rating is likely accurate and will skim your tank nicely.

I tried to find the right pump and I found it, however; it doesn't come with the venturi. I'm thinking of just taking this thing back and buying a euroreef!!
