Cool thanks!
How many holes do you guys typically get with one bit? I understand slower rpm and use water is best.

I used a Princess Auto unit when I started my current tank. Maybe I went too slow, but I barely got the second hole cut. I was very close to going out to buy another saw but thankfully it just made it through with a lot of extra pressure.
Seemed like more abrasive than glass coming from the cut. And I was using a garden hose. The BRS one I bought years ago lasted about 6-8 holes. If I remember correctly, Summit Tools sells them too. Search the web; there was a video about drill speeds. I think it's on a glass supplier website. |
