Default bagaii cardinal looking "sad"

i dont know whats going on, but one of my bagaii cardinals (i think the male) is looking sad, hes hanging at the bottom of the tank, eats some mysis but not alot. isnt swimming around much and looks a little brown compared to his bright white female friend.

ideas? what should i be looking for? i thought he was about to tip over a few times. hes not breathing hard, hes breathing really slow. he also hasnt been hanging out with his sexy wife, they are usually together.

he may have a mouthful of eggs
if he is not eating that is what has probably happened.

Just going to throw this out there, but maybe they have mated and hes got a mouth full of eggs...

ive seen them mate before and his mouth turns huge and square. doesnt seem like hes got a mouth full but i could be wrong, maybe they are still small.

Try to look in the mouth, I am thinking he has a brew of babies in there.
