Don’t have one, I was curious but couldn’t really find any for sale at the LFS. Instead I just run a refugium as part of my sump. I don’t know anyone that is currently running one either.

Barrier Reef Aquariums in Bellevue has some very slick custom units made in house. Worth checking out if you're in Seattle area. I had a picture but now I can't find it.

I have already purchased one. The funny thing is everyone shows algae growth in the unit but I’m more curious how it helped the DT

Algae scrubbers help DT by:
using no3 oxygenating water growing pods You need to use a red turf algae, I got mine from Inland Aquatics. Best to have a surge for algae or next best is waterfall type setup. I used a $150 LED grow light(Mars Hydro - Ebay) on night time cycle. It would turn on when main lights went off then it would turn off 16hrs later. Need to harvest regularly. Size to gallonage and load of DT. I would do it again but use a surge type and not waterfall. Hope that helps. Cheers, Tim

I built one and can post pics if you have a email address ... had hair algae out of control on rocks, glass everywhere in a 220G reeftank... all but gone in a couple spots ... been up and running since March 5th and I clean the screen every 10-14 days

Thanks for the info. Result in your display is exactly what I wanted to know. I’ll post pics when all set up. I’m guessing the pulse effect is simulating tides? Curious the benefit ? Or does the algae just like it ?
