That is true but in my case it's the complete opposite. The room my tank is in is actually the hottest room in the house, my chiller runs all year round & I don't think my heater has been on once...

No but I made sure that my tank had been running for at least 6 month+ before going with pellets. If you start to soon you can strip your system of all bad & some good element in the water column...
