Yes.. I don't want to do tank treatment.. Just as a dip.. But I believe it's 11grams per litre will give you 1500ppm

Thanks. Funny thing I did notice a alk drop when I was bringing phosphates down.

I tested today and was 0.05 without a dose in 24hrs so think all is well

I had a po4 spike a couple weeks ago which was caused from a bag of hydroton I put in sump when it was first setup and I forgot about it.. I have since taken out and used foz down to control...

I've laid filter floss over the baffles before and it did help somewhat. I should find some sponge type of material to put between baffles which would probably trap bubbles

I tried coarse substrate in my tank but didn't like the added time it took to vacuum. The bottom glass is painted black so looks alright and coraline will eventually cover it

I bought the phosphorus checker and couldn't be happier comparing it to red sea and salifert.. While at first I was disappointed with the pouches I found creasing them prior to cutting open helps...

Blue world and red coral are now closed.. Aquarium central did make a go of it and will be moving soon though from when I was in there they concentrated mostly on fw.
