Usually a day or two, although instructions usually say that it can be used immediately (but reccommend aerating until O2/CO2 equilibrium is met) not sure how I would measure that.

If you look at Big Al's web site under T5 bulbs you will find that NO is only 28 watts for 48" bulbs and HO is 54 watts for 48" bulbs. Just using Big Al's as a reference not recommending them!...

Clown Fish Liver Spots?

One of my clowns has some light brown shadowing in little patches under the skin. It looks like liver spots on a person. The fish is behaving normally and it doesn't seem to be bothered at all by it....

I just use wire cutters and never had any crack on me. I also have a pair of flush cutting nippers that I prefer as it leaves no edge.

Seems like drilling a hole in the pipe above the sump water line did the trick (So far). Thanks for the suggestion! Both Durso's are are the same height but one has about double the length of pipe...

Maybe I'll try enlarging the hole a bit. It's not salt creep as I just finished getting my salinity to 35ppt today (only added water yesterday) so I have a month or so to play with it. :razz:

Looks like my peppermint shrimp. Mine do take care of any small aiptasia that appear on new rock in my tank, they also try to clean my fingers when I'm moving stuff around!
