Avoid sponges??? don,t they know that some sponges do very well in aquarium and are photosynthetic???? like the Haliclone blue spong which is beautiful and easy to keep in aquarium provided good...

5 to 10 hours dip for snails? wow..I never acclimate them pass the temperature and then drop them in the aquarium. never lost a single one. Quite the opposite, they are multiplying like crazy.
