Agreed. Is this your first SW tank? During cycling, you should have test kits for Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate. When the first two are at zero, you can slowly add a few inverts. Test your parameters...

Gotcha. Try keeping the lights on for only 4-6 hours the first week or so, and slowly increase the photoperiod. That'll help the corals adjust, as well.

I will re-measure the height! I thought it was 18", but that was a quick measurement when the tank was still together, etc. I sure hope this works! Was thinking of a 1/2" bottom pane.
