Don't overlook Oceans Motions 4 or 8 way. I am loving the 4 way in my tank. Properly set up, you can have a tank with no powerheads, just sump and closed loop.

Yes, just plug it in and it will work. The float switches go to let power to the relay coil, and the relay contact acts like a switch to turn the pump on.
