Scott, just lay down an epoxy pad for future frags to grow on. Or, I've also glued a small piece of rubble beside the frag for it to grow onto for fragging.

I stopped Sponge Power, but upped the frequency of dosing Coral Snow. I was only dosing Coral Snow maybe once a month on average, and right now I'm dosing it every 3 or so days to help with this...

If it was/is algae, then yes that's the likely culprit. If it's bacteria, then I'm not sure what the culprit was/is. If it is algae, I do wonder why the Coral Snow had such a reducing affect on it....

I love kalkwasser. I use a doser for kalk as I find it is not stable enough if used through an ATO as evaporation varies seasonally, but also week to week ime.
