The vortechs were great, i would have kept them but due to the design of my tanks overflow i was limited on on placement. my tank was 30' wide..26' was taken up by the overflows on both side. But...

I like them but went with tunze instead..as i was very limited on space due to the size of my overflows on each end....hard to explain.

I run my waste water into my cichlid tank. Its still waste water but its hard, declorinted waste water. My fish are vibrant even my clowncloaches look better.

Good Review Sean. I have 2 on my tank plus the Tunze wave box. The Vortechs are powerful and create havoc in my tank. I had to turn both of them down to 60% of their potential otherwise my corals...
