I wouldn't add a different species of anemone to a tank that size. You'll run the risk of chemical warfare. I'd be inclined to just return the sick one for a refund or store credit. You never know...

Thanks, but my camera always make the sandbed look white, even though it might not be.
My main concern is flow through the rock work. I guess it wouldn't hurt to upgrade either.

new aquascaping
I re-aquascaped my tank on Saturday, and i'm not sure if I like it. The tank still looks like a blob of live rock which I don't reaqlly like. I think I may need to get rid of some live rock or some...

The closed loop will not add or diminish the flow through your sump. So you only want to count the GPH for the return pump.
That sounds like it should work then, less clutter in the sump.
