If you want to do this with float switches, you will need 2 float switches and a relay set up with a solenoid...in the end its just cheaper to go buy a $10 humidifier float valve from Home Depot.

Yes. From what I've read on RC, they are usually parasitic and should be removed from your snails. They are in the same family that attack clams IIRC.

Are you talking about the Sea Swirls I had Paul? Those aren't powerheads as you need a pump to pump water through them. They are just rotating nozzles.

Cyanoacrelate super glue is used to glue frags on rocks. As long as the active ingredient is Cyanoacrelate (or however you spell it) you will be fine.
