I run a single 400 watt on my 65 gallon tank and it heats up pretty good in the summer, due to ambient room temp. If your basement is cool though, I'd go for it. 2 400 watters should do fine, with...

I haven't noticed any kind of predator. I haven't really added anything to the tank for it to hitch hike on, unless it was stuck to my new fish? Some of the zoos are alive but have been closed up for...

I find that keeping my ph and alk slightly higher really helps cut down on many types of algea. Many corals don't mind the higher alk as well.

I will most likely order a new probe today. 50+ dollars ouch!

There are still a half dozen blue zoos left so hopefully they make a come back. I forgot to mension that after I re-arranged the tank...

Pin point Ph monitor

Anyone have a pinpoint Ph monitor that I can borrow to check against mine. Not sure if my probe is worn out or if it is calibrating properly or not.

Hmmm, haven't noticed any slime. Whole polyps are just gone, there might be 10-12 of 100 left, and they aren't fraggable where I have them sitting. I did just get a new reflector recently that sheds...

Pin point Ph & zoo issues

I have two problems right now.

-The first is that my favorite blue zoos have 95% dissappeared! I don't know why because all of the other zoos in the tank are fine. I've ruled out predators...

If the busted impeller still spins, even though it isn't balanced anymore I'd say the motor is still good. Its cheeper to replace the impeller than to buy a new pump, so thats the route I'd take.

Well if a tank tour is what we are doing I'll go along with it, I'll try anything once. I'll even volunteer to have my place as one of the stops, provided I haven't sold it by then.

Why don't we do a BBQ at a park. BYO food, beer and frags.

Or......

We could just have it at a LFS. Business for them, a warm place to...

Looking really good. Once you get some corals on those rocks it will fill out the tank nicely. Perhaps you'll be hosting the next frag swap?

Boy, they're already under the microscope and they haven't even opened yet.

I'm curious to see how they'll compete with everyone as far as livestock conditions/quiality and pricing are concerned.
