NO water proof end caps
Hey Lee, the Icecap double enders are 5" across the two, 10 1/2" with two of them side by side.
The singles are 2" across, so four of them would also fit no problem. Either way, they should...

I like the elastic method too. Works really good if the piece of rock has a bit of a concave to it so that the frag doesn't have too much pressure on it from the elastic.
Razor or scissors works...

Hi Lee, I picked up some Icecap endcaps from J&L that should work for T12 NO lamps. I think that they are about $20 for a pair with the stand-offs.

I have my halide 5 1/2" off of the water, my actinics a bit closer.
I suppose the main thing is to keep the water from splashing on the lights.

Hmmm... there are some great ideas here. Keeping it simple has it's merits, as does going all-out and having a fully organized big-time club.
