I haven't tried a pairing. I do have two clowns in the tank, the other is a perc that never leaves my frogspawn. Pairs are neat though, good luck if you try it out.

Off the top of my head I would say reactors (phosban and/or calcuim), UV sterilizer, powerbars, lighting for your sump (I assume you'll have a fuge in the sump).

I find that Ocean City has a pretty good selection of inverts. I haven't been there for a while but if you go in on a Thursday or Friday they should have that weeks shipment in the tanks ready to go....
