I've used almost every kelvin of bulb and whatage/type now. I honestly think for the most part, what chemistry and light intensity is going to be the biggest influence as far as pigment colouration....

Does anyone know the difference between these two bulbs? I've been using Hamiltons so far. I need to upgrade soon and I have always liked Ushio.

wow.. that has triggered an awesome growth response. I have experimented with motivating growth of axial corallites (growing tips) and have never been that succesful! Very cool.

Yeah, I have the thing crankin..It's ona 50g system loaded with SPS. It may be less then 1"/week but it's still a lot. I double checked my circulation pump and it is actually ok.. Not sure exactly...

I need a bigger CA Reactor!
I need to move to a bigger reactor. Mine just isn't cutting it. I go through about an inch per week of media (4" acrylic). and my feed pump died the other day resulting in the reactor pump burning...

Looking for frag tank in Victoria
Too many corals starting to battle each other. I want to set up a temporary frag set up. Does anyone have a smaller, shallow tank they could let go for cheap? thanks,
