Question Sexy Shrimp and Hermit Crabs

Can sexy shrimp be kept in the same tank with small hermit crabs? Would hermit crabs enjoy the same shrimp pellets? ( It's so weird how shrimp love eating pellets made of shrimp =P)

Do you culture your own food then? Or can you buy all those the same way you can get phyto and zoo in bottles? Right now I only have coral accel and phyto plankton that I've been target feeding it in...
