Crabs are very opportunistic feeders. They will eat pretty much anything they can get their claws on. I will never keep another crab in my tanks, including the cute little Hermits.

The other two are hard to find. If you have the Melafix try it. I use it in a hospital tank and just use a half dose. Usually works quickly. Epsom salts should help as well.

Darren, sounds like a bacterial infection. Kanamycin sulfate or Gentamycin sulfate for cloudy eyes. If you can't find them, Melafix will work also.

I run a dual Beckett on my larger tank and although it is certainly not cost-efficient and definitely noisy, (that's why I keep it in a closet) I love it.

Yup. Can't keep shrimp with these guys. They may also take a very small fish and crabs. I wouldn't try keeping small Gobies with them. Don't care about the crabs: I hate them!

No I didn't start hypo until after the Cupramine treatment was finished. If I remember correctly the Cupramine treatment lasted 2 weeks. I waited a few days after and then started hypo.
