Mike, yes it is but I don't want to have my return pump as the source of my water movment in the tank. I believe if I use the sump for mainly filtration etc it will work out well... with the mag 9.5...

Well that was one of the things I was thinking, it's not a price difference and I can really do some nice SPS and clams etc.. I just don't have room for a larger tank, and the price is reasonable......

In my experience tail rot doesn't work that fast. Also with tail rot you'd probably see some clamping of the fins and red edges. Sounds to me like he got it torn or something.

Nice going getting Kent I find it mixes up consistantly every batch I've used, unlike alot of the other salts I've tried.
