Ok, I have some pretty big sponges it would be welcome to eat. I also don't mind buying sponges regularily if needed. Although I would prefer for it to eat prepared foods.

No I have never heard of it. I just buy Nori from the Asian market near my place. My tangs love the kind I buy. The Sailfin did eat it too but I think he is just getting used to the new tank.

Well the tusk eats all the food I feed the tank...Nori, prawns, mussels, squid, clams, pellets...pretty much everything.

He also eats shrimp, crabs, hermit crabs sometimes and anything he thinks...

I have had some but never the bad kind. Mine were just the harmless brown ones that don't eat anything. All they can do is block light from corals...
