It should be ok if its a small hole but it starts getting bigger or you start seeing the flesh recede then you might want to consider isolating it or start target feeding it to help it build up...

I got lots of those in my tank as others have stated it is a feather duster they pop up everywhere no with no rhyme or reason I even got a few attached to my snails and hermit crab shells.
