I am re-scaping. The Meteor shower is already their and covers 1/4 of the large rock. Not sure what acro's will eventually be mounted on the same rock but sooner or later they are gonna meet

As a general rule what happens when a encrusting meteor shower cyphastrea grows to the base of an acropora? Will the cyphastrea grow over the acro or will the acro win the battle?

I've had hair algae problems for 6+ months and...

I've had hair algae problems for 6+ months and had no sps problems. Great colour and growth just unsightly HA. Lots of gfo, toothbrush scrubbing, prayers and still no relief.

Considering building a bigger ATO/water change tank if I can source the glass for a reasonable cost. Looking at a tank that is 24L X 15W X 30T and drilled to accomodate a kent float valve.
