Using AF Reef Salt and got purple / brown slimy stuff which likes to smother corals. Hit my sps the worst then Lps and Zoas. I have it somewhat under control but it gets worse when I do my water...

I'm with you on the issues. Here is to hoping that by switching back to RC from AF that I get rid of the slime and my corals stop getting smothered.

Lol no I wasn't, just the Reef Salt. That being said I have had nothing but diatom / cyano blooms since changing. I will most likely go back to Reef Crystals.

Absolutely. Of course it happens 4 days before we were leaving for Las Vegas. I'm just glad he's back to Normal and hope it doesn't happen again.

Funny you ask... he must have had a blockage and it's since passed. His stomach is back to normal and he is swimming around normal in the tank and buyoancy is no longer an issue. Glad he pulled...
