No not really, where did you get that? The movement is amplified with the longer focal, but if you shoot from 4" with a 100mm lens, that will not change your exposure usually and will not be worse...

But you would not shoot corals at 400mm.. it's better with a smaller lens from closer or a macro lens. My 400mm focus at 12 feet...so I would not even be able to take a photo of the aquarium...

I tried peroxyde dip for bryopsis and it does go away but it return in a few weeks. I suspect it is deeper in the rock than the peroxyde can get?

I have 2 emerald crabs but they must be really big in order to be strong enough to eat those algae. I had a big one before and he was cleaning them a bit but my 2 small one about 1" can't do a thing...

yes but some are really fragile and break easily. I know my orange digitata is well incrusted on the liverock and it is very fragile and break easily. Yes it can be glued back but it will not look...
