I caught my flame angel with the pop bottle method. Took a few days of leaving the pop bottle in the tank for the fish to get used to it and lots of patience but I finally got him.

I agree mseepman, it is a good entry level light. I would take one of these over a coralife any day, as you mentioned in your post they are much cheaper and IME very comparable to the coralife.

I think the Coralife's you are looking at are Power Compact. I would go T5HO over PC for sure. I would stay away from coralife, not the best quality. High Output T5's have specific ballasts and lamps.
