I wound up losing a leather and 3 fish to it, I actually saw this thing drop from a LR overhang onto a blackray shrimp gobie and clamp on...

Myself, I have 300 watts of DE Halides and 260 watts of PC lighting...

Both in a 36 gallon and in a 20 gallon.
Once you have them adjusted, they work very well FOR THE PRICE.
I would happily use one of these on anything...

I have a 24' deep tank with 2x150w 20k hqi halides and I found that my lighting was good to very good.
you might want to consider going with a 6700k or a 10k halide...
