Your alkalinity should maintain itself with the use of kalk,but also should be used after a proper alk is reached.
I would suggest the use of buffers to raise alk up,and then using kalk to...

I currently have some 1/2 horse jacuzzi pumps,wich are rated at aprox 45 gpm,and draw about 4 amps each........i have read abit about the ampmasters drawing a max of between .8 to 1.8 amps max...
