I see your points. That's all I needed. Is there any way you can give me a possible estimate as to how fast they might grow in a 50 though?

And when say a bigger tank down the road, I mean BIG.

I regret that I bought my tang back in the early days of my reef keeping days and I was advised wrongly that the tank would be big enough.. a packed 33 is like a prison..

Speaking of tanks too small for a tang, I think it's time mine moves on.. He is totally healthy, but I can tell the way he swims, he just doesn't have the space.. Never gets ick, but never was fat...

If your tank is drilled on the wall you just need the box inside the tank with a dursa style pvc arrangment that overflows out the hole to your sump. cut slits at the top edges of you box as well.
