i have a 100 gpd from aquasafe.. it took half an hour or less to put them together..
in regards to how long the filters last you wont be able to tell without a tds meter so get one from them as well...

i've talked to ed from aquasafe before ordering my 100gpd ro unit from them and they do sell membranes separately
i believe its roughly around 60-80dollars shipped to your door
