I do about a 30 gallon water change every 3-4 months. I keep my alk at around 7.7, calcium around 450, mag not sure, phosphates around 0.05. Change out carbon when ever I remember, and change bulbs...

Main drain is usually where the hot water tank is. I have my frag tank plumbed right to it for easy water change system and located my sump close to there for just incase my sump should overflow....
