Yup...mollies, monos, some puffers, etc. can be acclimatized in sw. BUT as fishoholic stated the longer that acclimatization process the better.

Are aiptasias white/clear when small (1cm or smaller)? I have some in my tank and been using hot water with moderate success. Just want to make sure they are aiptasias though.

Definately not aggressive as dsaundry stated. Mine lived with apistogramma triple reds and platies. The apistos bred and actually bullied the ebjd (Apistos are dward cichlids...this particular ones...

I found with my yellow lab cichlids, i had close to 100 percent survival rate after I stripped. If I let them spit in the tank, I probably had lower than 10 percent due to fish eating them.

Can you strip the eggs or fry similar to mouth-brooding cichlids. I used to have some yellow labs (electric yellow cichlid) and I stripped the fry after a few weeks.

Not sure with the sw version...

I think he was saying that it would be tough to light it up if you were going to put corals. If it is a fowlr light is not so much an issue.
